Good deal for both teams, IMO. Far less than Panther fans expected.

Wow... I really think we could have offered FLA a better package than that.

Very very good for the coyotes.

Good on Phoenix.

Florida probably could've done better IMO. The offers must not have been all that great. Just shows how much a trade demand can affect the deal itself.

This one hurts, because now Phoenix is going to be fighting us tooth and nail for any playoff spot that opens up.

What a brain-dead move by Florida.

Boynton was on waivers last year and carried a 3M+ salary. Ballard is alright, but at least get a 1st round pick instead of a mid-second.

I'm surprised nobody offered more.

Honestly, how is Stoll + Smid + pick not a better package than this?

Florida is friggin' ********, and Lowe should've gotten in on this.

Phoenix' defense is Swiss Cheese now. Wow. I'm sure they are hoping to land another top defensive prospect with their first pick.

I really don't think Florida made out too bad. Ballard is a solid defenseman. They desperately need a center now.

Phoenix wins this by a landslide. Jokinen by far the best player in the deal.

Hope this serves as a lesson that we really don't have to give up the farm to get a good player. Some of the deals that were on here for him were ridiculous to say the least.

Add Jokinen, Turris, Porter, Kolarik and Summers to last year's team and I think it would be fair to expect some improvement.
