Remember who's been preaching dealing BOTH Stoll and Torres for so long???
I certainly wouldn't mind it

$2.25 MIL (Torres) to try and do what $1.4-1.5 MIL (Glencross) does. It makes me sick to my stomach, salary cap management with this organization continues to be a total farce. Overpaying by $0.5 MIL for Gilbert, throwing a boatload of money at "My Shoulder Hurts" Souray, giving Roloson more than $3 MIL after only a good playoff showing that somehow eliminates his career backup status, tossing Fernando $2.5 MIL after the same good playoff run, and throwing away draft picks to sign 50-point Dustin Penner to a $4+ MIL deal.
It's ridiculous. Now what will Lowe do with Horcoff, Garon, and Pitkanen? Each of the aforementioned players should be down in salary anywhere from $0.5 to $1 MIL. That's a lot of coin in the cap world, and with a rising cap it could've gone a long way to securing the services of these three players.
