Is this on TV anywhere? NHL.com says it's on TSN but I can't see it on TSN or TSN HD.

We took a HUGE risk with this pick...Yann Sauve has a boatload of potential but with Dalpe available I can't say I'm satisfied with the pick in comparison to Hodgson. What sucks even more is that the second guy I wanted in my "perfect" draft was Aaron Ness was picked immediately before Sauve. At least they didn't go completely off-board like last year again...

First overall pick in the QMJHL in 2006. Really stoked the Canucks took him. THN had him 23rd overall.

C'mon guys, he's a very well known prospect.

McKenzie had him ranked 41st, we took him 41st.

Would have preferred an offensive player, but Yann Sauve doesn't seem to be a bad pick. Big, physical and mean, but needs to improve his play and poise with the puck.

Wow, Sauve and Hodgson share the same birthday, Feb. 18th, 1990! Conspiracy?

With the loss of Bourdon, we needed a D

From TSN: The big, strong, physical blueliner who models his game on Dion Phaneuf's is sometimes too aggressive for his own good, taking himself out of position, but he is most certainly a work in progress. One of his claims to fame is that he fought Steven Stamkos in the CHL Prospects game. He started this season as a projected first rounder but will have to improve his decision-making to get back to that status.

From NHL Central Scouting: Yann is a defenceman who, when he is on, can be one of the best defencemen in all the Quebec League and all of junior hockey. With continued development and maturity, as well as experience on when to dish the puck and when not to dish the puck, projects to be a solid defenceman. He needs to improve on a little bit of poise and calmness with the puck. He is good with the puck but sometimes gives it away too abruptly and it results in turnovers.
Not bad. This helps out our defensive depth a bit, and I think he may leapfrog Ellington as our top defensive prospect at the moment.

It's Delorme's new scouting method, seeing as watching practice and asking barbeque salesman failed....

A good point, and I'm not upset with the selection. At the same time, wouldn't have been upset with Dalpe, Wahl or Staal either.

Another solid pick (at least at this point) Hodgson was my top choice in our range and the more I look into Sauve the more I like.

Draft is streaming via nhl.com main page.

Sauve doesn't sound like he's a mensa candidate that's for sure.

I'd give him a break, English isn't his first language.

Unfortunately that's exactly how he said it too.
"Me hit Phaneuf, shoot like Blake."
