Also, I think Grachev is left. Rather him than Petrov based on his more willingness to come over.

Petrov in the 5th!

Heard of Toews and Jenks.

Who's Comrie? No relation to Mike, I hope?

Toews who is a teammate of our second round pick Derek Stepan at Shattuck-St. Mary's, would be an interesting player in the Drury/Pyatt mold -- as well as the brother of a current NHLer, which this scouting staff loves.

Big d-man, but a bit of a project. Don't think he's related to Mike Comrie, who would be a midget (5'9) next to Adam (6'4).

4 years in Russia. He'd be 22 by the time he's done. AND he'd be making more than we could ever pay him on an ELC.

David Carle is in fact still available: 5'11 left-handed shooting d-man, who also attends Shattuck-St. Mary's.

David Carle has opted out due to a heart condition. He can no longer play.

Wow, Daly brought up a VERY interesting point.

It's not prohibited in the CBA to add money to the ELC in order to help the player pay his way out of a contract.

Big money teams can use that to their advantage and load up the ELC a bit.
