A very strong and skilled two-way center. This Norwegian player is very all-round and does most things well. Backchecks, kills penalties, has pretty quick feet, strong puckhandling and especially very good hockey sense. A pretty productive player with some leadership skills as well.
Playing in the Linkoping SEL team next year. Good pick.
I like hearing all that...big, tough to knock off the puck, solid at both ends, has international experience already...sounds like a Gradin pick to me!

Just because it's a Gradin pick doesn't mean he's going to be a gem, remember how late he's being drafted. With that being said, Gradin's track record gives me much more hope of that happening than if it was some Joe Smith from the BCHL.
Edit: Just checked out the stats and I like what I see. The fact that he's played in the SEL and WC's at this age is good news. Not bad stats in the Swedish juniors either.
Norwegian Mats Fröshaug-Josten has undoubtedly had a tremendous development during the season and developed into one of J20 SuperElits absolute best player (according to signed), even if he is sistaårsjunior. In Linköping J20-law, he has mantle a very large role and match-after match, he has performed well offensively as defensively. A very clever allroundcenter which will be a good tillförskott in Nyköping and who recently became the set-aside for the Norwegian national team for the upcoming tournament.
For the LHC J20, this is however a very serious message. Mats have logged on very many minutes per game, and obviously weakened Monday out of this in Topp8 series and finals. Nevertheless, it is entirely right for the LHC to put the player's development at the centre since Mats probably has a future in elitserielagets team to come.
-- We want to test Mats in a tougher environment, it will be exciting to follow him there, also says sportchefen Johan Hemlin.
Played 2 games for Linkoping in the SEL this season, had 36 points in 35 games for Linkoping of the J20 SuperElit, one step below. Also had 7 points in 5 games for Norway at the U20 WJC this past year.
One thing I like about this pick, is he seems like almost Brunnstrom type, that he is ready to step into the NHL in the next year or two, IF he is NHL calibre...
