Felix Potvin was a terrific pick, but other than that, kind of crappy.

Wow, those stats are shocking. The futility at such a high selection is hard to believe.

When all is said and done I'll be extremely surprised if we actually do indeed pick at 31 and not before then. This draft is extremely good and there are some future building blocks in here. I think Martin will get us into the first round.

I can't believe you put all that together! I think this year it's a pretty deep draft so we might be able to get someone who can be a decent contributor. We got Huselius in the 2nd round & I believe Kreps was as well.

All that means nothing. It's just an anomaly. I don't believe in superstition. Mikkelson and Brennan should become good defensemen in the NHL, as CanadianPantherFan alluded to.

I am happy to see that Felix Potvin will go down as the greatest 31st draft pick in NHL history.

Yeah, but why point out something negative like that on the Panthers board of all places. I just don't understand the reasoning, that's all.

I know you're not a troll, and I appreciate all the input you've given us over the year with regards to Matthias. That's why I was so surprised to see you post that, I guess I just misinterpreted what you were trying to say.

Interesting stuff. Regardless of being selected 31st, I have high hopes for Brennan.

Otherwise, it's pretty sad that Laraque is the third-best player listed above (behind Potvin and Tucker).

Maybe we can get help from the best scouting team in all of sports, Tha Marlins scout team. Then we would have the upper hand for sure and that would guarantee we picked a stud instead of a dud with that 31st.

Why focus on the damn 31st pick, why not focus on great players drafted after the 30th pick?

Pretty good comparison. Have you seen him? What HF grade would you give him?
