Kevin Lowe has STONES......if you're pissed about offer sheets like crybaby Burke; too bad.....obviously enough GM's supported the idea to have it in the CBA

Yeah.....in his brain.

He can`t have anything else in there considering the $$$ he threw at a slug like Penner and what he gave up for him.

Considering a guy like Malone could potentially be looking at getting 5.5+ on the free market, Penner seems to be making pretty close to market value.

Anyone that would give Malone 5.5+ has even bigger stones .

I love how everyone throws around the fact that he overpayed the RFA's (in their own opinion) and yet they fail to realize if he had offered a fair amount at the time the offer would have been matched. What you think that by offering Penner a 2 or 3mil a year deal that Burke would have rolled over and let Penner go. I doubt it.

5 years at $4.25M/year, a 1st, a 2nd, and a 3rd for Dustin Penner isn't an overpayment now?

Somebody offer Andrei Kos. an offer sheet, we'll do the same with Corey Perry. Perfect gritty guy that can play on the first two lines for the Habs.

So a few of us have discussed it on the Sens board... but what happens if Ottawa sends a $2.600M offer sheet to Halak on a 3-4 year deal?

He'd have a great chance of becoming a starter here either this season or next.

The Kostitsyns seem pretty happy together in Montreal. I'm not worried at all.

Luckily, I think having his brother already on the team and not stuck in the minors is a huge bargaining chip.
