Well, if our defense isn't ready, Lumsden could single-handedly win the game for you guys.

I think Hamilton run offence will make our defense look like a CIS one. Nothing up front on center. Romero loss is a big one. MTL gonna win this one, but Lumsden will get near 200 yards, 7+ yards per carry.

Actually, wha were the results before he was there and after?

The team may be good..

no, Popp is no longer the coach. He is sticking strictly to GM.

Trestman is the new coach now. Its his first job as a head coach and first job in the CFL. He was an assistant in the NFL.

From what I've read and heard all the players like him and like the atmosphere in the room.

I'm looking forward to the start of the season, we cant be any worst then last year, can we?

I'm worried about Printers.... I think he's a great QB... but I don't know if he has anyone to throw to outside of Tony Miles.... I also think Miles will get doubleteamed all game long.

For Hamilton to have a chance they have to get a big game out of Jesse Lumsden and they have to win the battle of field position on special teams.

It's tough to predict. The CFL as much as I love it, have to do some shoddy things to be profitable, like a short training camp with 2 pre season games. Calvillo has run about 3 series, Cahoon hasn't shaken off camp hammy pulls yet, I'm sure the ticats have the same issues.

I love the game, but there are some weird things you have to accept along with it.

33-10 final. AC looked pretty impressive. Cobourne and Watkins also had great games. Our next victim is Winnipeg. GO ALS GO!!!!

Calvillo not taking a beating is a good sign. The Ticats obviously have a long way to go but they have some guys who can rush the passer. 2 sacks, but more importantly, he wasn't getting hammered after every play.

Cobourne did a nice job blocking. I think that if they can keep that big #7 Carter healthy , he will be a key contributor.

I'm interested to see how they work Armstead into the lineup as the season wears on. Lack of team speed has been an issue in the past, and he should help.

AC, cobourne (AC2?) and Watkins were incredible last night.
Very happy with the start of the season and it looks like a bright season ahead of us. Hopefully once all the starters get back, we can remain healthy and have a go at the grey cup here at home.

Oups, bad game for Lumsden, too many points score early by the Als.

Last nights game reminded me of the Als 3 years ago. And they took no 'off' quarter, they worked hard and evenly all thru the game. This bodes well for the season and Trestman impressed me.

The Als have a pretty average roster this year but from watching yesterday's game, i absolutely adore Trestman's playbook. If they can keep playing like they did yesterday, they might have a sniff at the playoffs which would be sweet. I wasn't expecting much coming into the season but I extremely enjoyed watching the game yesterday.

A lot less boring than last season was.

Exactly what trestman himself said....He was very happy with the team playing the full 60 minutes
