Grachev, add Randy Copley.

And FC, we skipped poll #5 because it was apparent based on the voting in poll #4 that MDZ would be winning the next round.

That's true, I understand that, but I wouldn't expect to see him in NY this season, anyway, considering the free agents the Rangers are chasing. Injuries are the biggest question mark over Sauer -- especially after what happened to Baranka.

Nevertheless, I really like him and I have my fingers crossed for him to have a good injury-free run from here on out.

Grachev. Lots of upside with this kid. I think Sauer's injuries have set him back a bit.

I went with Grachev, though not far ahead of Sauer and Stepan.

Still don't think Korpi is #4 though.

Grachev. Add Potter.

Is Wiikman even Rangers' property? I would have considered adding him around now, but if we don't have his rights locked up...

Ya, he was signed to a Ranger contract a few months ago.

I think people are grossly underestimating Michael Sauer. He was VERY close to making the rangers out of camp last year.

But, he didn't follow it up with a real solid season in Hartford. He was very inconsistant all year. Not saying he won't rebound but right now he has to recover from a very serious injury before he can work on getting back to where he was at the end of last season.

It's the "shiny new toy" syndrome. I love the Grachev pick, and think the kid's got a lot of upside. But, he has yet to play in NA. It's possible he eventually becomes a top liner, but, he's just begun his development.

I think both have equal potential....Sauer to be a top 4 dman, and Grachev to be a top 6 forward...Sauer is more NHL ready, but i'm always worried about his injury proneness and if he will be able to have a good NHL career because of it. That's why I gave the edge to Grachev.

This is no knock on Grachev...he's impressive...and if he progresses like AA did in his 1st year in NA, he vaults near the top of the list. I just think, with players of relatively even upside, I give a SLIGHT edge to the kid who's further in his development.

BTW...do you want put Grachev at 6, and Sauer at 7, and move to #8?

Yea, I think i'm going to do that. Sauer is going to run away with #7.
