TSN is reporting this as well.

Update, 2:13 p.m.: TSN chimes in with a report that says Mats Sundin has offers from four teams, including one team offering a multi-year deal worth more than $10 million a season. If this team is the Rangers, I grant you permission to form picket lines outside the Garden immediately.

Devils let go of Brylin I would be happy for the Rangers to get him now

Oh well.. the Rangers won't be beating that offer.. If he's a Ranger next year, he'll do it for less..

Not signing him could work out in our favour.. 10 mill ?? makes Gomez and Drury's contract a bit easier to swallow.

I really hope we stay away from Sundin and Jagr, at this point I wouldn't mind a step backwards with this team. Solidify the D with some decent signings and bring in some youth.

I know that is bass akwards from what the Rangers typically do but it feels like the right time to actually complete the rebuild.

Only problem is with Henke and a strong D we'd probably end up out of the Lottery and get like 5th overall pick.

Where are you getting all this, Tom?

Can't believe Washington went with Theodore over Huet.

4 yrs eh.........man FA is nuts............makes sense as Phoenix needs some new D men.....I imagine they will go for one more

As for Theodore in Wsh it makes sense as it was him and Huet as the top 2.........I guess Huet wants $$$ that Wsh will not give BUT Ottawa Will.....Guaranteed

Emery is out there for a team to take a risk.........maybe Colorado now since they need someone to come in for Theodore and compete with Budaj
