Very good team guy that can round into a 3rdline mucker. Scored 7 but might be a 15-18 goal guy with 150pims. He is a heart and soul player and can throw bombs when he drops his gloves good bye Hollweg

He was on my fantasy team this past year... He racked em up last year when he was on a tear (Zetterberg was on my team too, maybe we ick him up? )

Seriously though, good pickup especially if we lose Sean Avery...

He's not an AHL player guys. He's an NHL player. He had a good run in December I believe where he was scoring a lot I believe.

Come on guys. Would you rather have Jeff Finger at 3.5 million? I'm just happy Sather hasn't overpaid anyone yet like most other teams.

Campbell, Rolston, Sundin and such still have yet to sign. Be patient.

If we're not going to outscore the opposing teams this year, might as well beat the hell out of them on the ice.

While Hollweg might be gone anyway, I believe Voros is the replacement for Avery.

Hollweg's replacement...

a middleweight who can score more than 1-2 goals.

Exactly. With the way some of these contracts are going, I'm glad the Rangers have kept it low-key. I like this signing so far, you need guys like this, especially since Avery is all but gone.

This is a SICK signing I love Voros...seriously have any of you even watched him?

He will be a perfect replacement for Hollweg on the 4th line...plays with heart, hits like a truck, and is actually a decent scorer.

Great move IMO.

We needed cheap wingers who might have potential. I hope its not too much money than I would really like this signing.

Voros is big, he's agitating, and he fights. Avery is tough, but i doubt anyone in the league is really scared about Avery coming after you.

Voros is a good team guy, I'd say he's more Hollweg's replacement than Avery. He's not a pure fighter like Orr, but Hollweg with slightly more offense

Sounds to me like a hollweg replacement, not an avery replacement.

The guy brings more size and more scoring to the 4th line. Anyone have an idea of him defensively? I see he was -7 last year. Was he on a bad line? Is he a big liability?

A great 4th liner, but if it's a cent more than the league minimum it's a bad signing.

He played for the Wild, isn't that whole team a bad line?

For those who hate Hollweg, or Sjostrom, Voros may get ice time over both.
im guessing after the yotes signed the fridge, he had to get a tough guy to compete with an old friend

picks his spots too, very good at drawing a fight at home games when the team is down to get the fans back in. I remember him fighting strudwick, not the best fighter but wont back down.
