Actually, it was techincally Leopold and Traverse for Carney and Pahlsson, which is good. But, has the goat traded some other asset, like a third round pick and something for Carney, he could potentially have the same team he has, plus Leopold.

He should be one to talk about trades, at the beginning of the season he suggested trading Mogilny for Hereema and Belfour for draft picks.

Yes, the players that the Devils got back helped win cups, but taken at face value the trades are pretty bad.

Like you said those guys who where brought in did when cups.So isn't winning a CUPS good enough.Hell I'll do those trades over and over if it ment I would win another cup.

Malakhov = cup

Nieuwendyk Langenbrunner and Friesen Tverdovsky = cup

I'm sure you can count, thats two cups there.
