This can't be how the day ends, right, with the Canucks signing Wellwood and Hordichuk....

If this means Cowan is gone, I am happy. Hordichuk is tough, and can actually play a semi-regular shift. When with Nashville he always seemed to score against the Canucks, too.

I thought the team that trade for Hordichuk's rights signed him. Carolina wasn't it? I can't remember.

Now that i think about it, it was Carolina who signed him. So they had to trade him to Vancouver. But for what?

If it's true, pure awesomeness. Finally, a guy who will stick up for his team and not lose (sorry Cowan, you don't count).

A player absolutely devoid of skill, pointless addition with Cowan still under contract and Rypien/Brown in the minors.
At least get a tough guy who can play a regular shift

I could have swore Canes ink him to a deal. Oh well. Fits well in Vancouver since we matched the Backes offer sheet.

Darcy Hordichuk had 12 fighting majors last season and 60 total PIM's. Love the sounds of that from a 4th liner.
This guy is nasty. But so are his hands. I'm sick of seeing Canucks getting pummelled. Thumbs up.

Its a fourth liner that needs to be filled.
Why are the hopes on the Sundin signing handcuffing Gillis?!
Ryder/Hueslies/Hossa are still out there.

Depending on the amount a good pick up . Very solid team guy and legitmately tough. Good 4th line checker and real character guy.
