This guy is nasty. But so are his hands. I'm sick of seeing Canucks getting pummelled. Thumbs up.
He's a loose cannon that isn't afraid to fight anybody and will go nuts to protect his teammates.

Exactly..... Cowan was not going to get it done so now Hordy can do it.

Good signing by the Nucks... Hordi's the enforcer you guys needed, so now Cowan won't have to enforce. Hordi brings a lot of character and energy too.

Hordichuk? Give me a break. Absolutely useless, can't even manage 4th line duty. There's a reason the guy averages about 2 shifts a period for his entire career.
At least we didn't trade for the useless slug.

I'm so glad that Gillis started to work by addressing a glaring need on the team's most important aspect - the 4th line.

Don't mind the signing. Probably means the end of Cowan or something to light a fire under his ass.

What a completely useless signing. Good thing this is a two-way deal.
Enforcers don't help you win cups.

The Anaheim Ducks disagree with you.
This is a great signing, we've needed a true tough guy for a long time now.

It's a good thing NHL changed the scoring rules so that a won fight is worth half a goal, or this would be a ****ing useless signing.

Of course it isn't. I don't get these guys that are crying about adding another dimension to the team. You do realize you can't have 4 lines of 20 goal scorers, right? The Canucks are in a tough division and they were outmatched many, many nights last season when it comes to tough, physical play.
Wasn't Horichuck the guy who was laughing at the Canucks for being so soft last season?

Remind me when this happened. Because my recollection of last season is it happened exactly never.

So.. the Oilers got Erik Cole, Colorado got Tucker, Minnesota got Zidlicky and Brunette, and the Canucks got.. Darcy Hordichuk. Hmm.

They also got Raycroft.
And The-Odor is out of the West (ever since he was ventilated in that Habs game by the Canucks - he always seemed to have the Canucks number as the Avs goalie).
