If he can get 4 mil from them I should probably at least get 500k from them, maybe I should give Pete a call!

I... I don't know what to say.
I was about to post that too.

Anything to comfort them I guess.

That actually goes a long way in helping me understand a GDT on the Bruins board.

He's a Bruins fan, you already knew he had flawed judgment...

Hey, aren't we suppose to get Halak and a 2nd pick in this deal?

I can't believe we waited for four long hours just to hear it was Ryder at 4 million. I don't mind getting Ryder, but four hours of a build up for that?!?!?!?

Believe me...most Bruins fans are as stunned by this contract as you guys are. It certainly makes no sense to me. And even though we hate the Habs....there's a lot of respect among us B's fans for the skill your team has. (But that's the last nice thing I'll ever say about Les Glorieux!).

Good for him. I hope he gets utilized better and regains his scoring touch with a long term contract and coached by a old friend in Julien.

With that being said, I hope he doesn't come back to bury the Habs... but you know what our history is like.

I always liked Ryder because he's a natural sniper. But that's about it. He just robbed the bruins! Good for him. Jullien better surround him properly because he may put 30 in the net, but 50 will go in the other way.

all fan bases do this, and last year B's fans despised this guy and prayed he would never sign in Boston

We'll see when/if he puts up the same numbers as many times in a row as Ryder did. But the kid does have talent, that's for sure.

with free agency i don't think anything make sense.

Polar opposites.

Streit has one good year and gets 4 million.

Ryder has one bad year and gets 4 million.

A lot of money to bank on one maintaining his game and the other regaining his.

I can't believe that our fringe players are worth as much as they are. Huet, Ryder and Streit combine for about $14MM and they were our expendible players!? *** is going on her, Holy over payment Batman!

I literally laughed out loud when I saw these signings, especially Ryder.
