Sounds like he could be the first heavweight to be loved by the crowd since Gino was here. People really get behind the guys who like to fight and love their role.

Brashear? He never seemed to warm up to the Vancouver fans. Langdon? Boring as hell. Brookbank? Again, didn't really have a personality that embraced his role.

So if anything, if Hordichuk can win 60% of his fights, he might have people chanting his name a bit in Vancouver.

Plus he trained at Chuck Lidell's camp, which is sweet.

This quote makes absolutely no sense.

Hm. Maybe I'm just fluent in 'goon', but I get what he's saying. We've had enough of those annoyingly passive 'enforcers' over the years who pick their fights, and seem to only go out and wrestle with the other teams fighters occasionally, but are otherwise useless. If the guys an agitator on top of dropping the gloves I'm all for that.

I think you're misinterpreting what he's saying. He's definitely in the 'goes around looking for fights camp'. I think what he meant in the first quote is that he actively instigates his fights, he doesn't simply wait for the fights to come to him he makes the fights come to him.

Love the addition of Hordichuk. Gives us a legitimate knuckleduster to deal with some of the dirtbags in the NW; Stortini leaps to mind.

Saw these and I'm loving it...

Hordichuk vs Stortini

Hordichuk vs Laraque

Hordichuk vs Simon

The guy can dance, that's for sure. Welcome to the team!

Yeah. He said that he set out a goal last year to have 15 scraps and was asking people to go in every game he played. So, he's definitely one of those guys who'll go around looking for somebody to fight. I love what I'm hearing about him so far. Can't wait to see his first scrap in a Canucks uniform.
