Thank you Tyutin and Good Luck!

He definitely deserves this thread, he was #1 as the the most long term Ranger with the most games player as a Ranger on our Roster last season..I dont think I worded that right but figure out what I mean. We drafted him, watched him grow and mature into quite the defenseman.

Always solid in his own zone, threw the deadly hipcheck once and awhile that we are going to miss and was so damn calm with the puck, never afriad to take a hit to move it in the defensive zone. Offense never really developed with us but he was still a huge part of the team each night.

Hard seeing a core piece leave the organization but I guess it was a must when we have a chance to get a potential young star.

Thanks Fedor for your play with us, and good luck with your new team! Hopefully you emerge as a top pairing dman for the Jackets...we know you got it in you. Never regretted getting your jersey and wearing it to every Ranger game...

Farewell Toots, Thanks and Good Luck

I'm still going to be a fan of his, but God damn, sucks to go from New York to Columbus.

And this poster shall miss him and his hip checks dearly. Best of luck to him in Columbus, and maybe one day later down the line he'll be a Ranger again.

Well...
Wish you where here!

I'm gonna miss Toots. One of the best hitters on our team in some time. He's going to do very well in Columbus...and hopefully he'll come back here in a few years.

Good luck Toots!!

One of my favorite players on the team. Got his hockey card up on my pin-up board, probably won't take it down. Good luck to him.

I changed my user name a while ago because I knew he would be moved soon... I really wish it had been Girardi instead. He will be missed.

Yes thank you. You wore the blue sweater as well as anyone. Fought and stood up for your teammates. Did everything you were told like a good soldier. Never yapped about anything. And you threw that great hipcheck. I will miss you. You were the only sandpaper in a defense of weaklings that we have and we are going to suffer for it (but you gotta give to get). But good luck for the rest of your career. Hope to someday get you back here.

I hope this isn't the season he breaks out offensively like Renney always said he had the potential to do. If he does this trade will have to be revisited caus i'm not so sure we win.

Yeah but if Zherdev breaks out offensively as well with real centermen feeding him, then I'm not so sure about your statement. But don't make this about anything negative. This is about What a great Ranger Tyutin was.

I dont think Managment knows what the words "Fan Favorite" Mean? jeez first Avery, then Toots, and soon it will be JJ to edmonton.

Why does management give a damn about fan favorites? They care about icing the best team they can, which will make new fan favorites anyway. Much bigger fan favorites have been traded away or waived before this (Giacomin, Leetch, Graves, etc).

At least they're going to the west.
