The Pens couldn't afford to take their time as they needed quality depth guys while they were still around. It'll be interesting to see if Jagr decides to play for a proven contender and be a secondary player or if he'll take a chance on a team willing to give him a two year deal.

I will get slammed for this but Gomez and Drury were the new guys. Jagr was here before and the offense was clicking fine. Gomez and Drury should have been the ones to adjust. not Jagr, and the entire rest of the team.
At first, no Jagr should not have to alter his style. After a half season of futility, maybe he should consider compromising and adjusting to his new teammates. That's just my take.

After a half season of a terrible powerplay, maybe he should have moved off the half boards and stopped playing patty-cake with Roszival, again just my take but I'm not a professional hockey player.

I know it sounds weird, but I'm actually not trying to be critical of Jagr, I'm just hypothesising. I'm just saying that after 41 games, if things aren't working you should probably try something different. If it was Jagr being stubborn, which Renney has alluded to at times, I can understand Gomez's comments.
