Yashin

I've heard he signed with a Russian team again but can't find confirmation. Does anyone know for sure what his status is?

I think his days in the NHL are done. FOREVER. He was unhappy in North America and it shows. He didnt have much passion for the sport when he last played with the Islanders and in my opinion he should either stay in Russia or he should retire.

Yashin signed another deal in Russia. He signed with Salavat Yulaev for I think 3.7 million. His NHL days appear over

No he was not unhappy in North America. He said many times he wanted to come back. He did not want to leave the Islanders and tried to get them to change their mind and take him back many times. A few teams wanted him but he doesn't come back because he wants to come back for top money and he gets offers for less. So he stays in Russia, where he is doing great, MVP, and near the top of his league.
