Sundin what do you think

Guys we might be losing out on Jagr but what do you think about Sundin?
I know he hasn't decided yet but when he does can the Rangers get him.

Why I am I saying this because we got Naslund who might be Sundin's friend and his winger if he comes to Rangers. Vancouver offered him money but they are on the west coast Montreal is nice but where would you play Montreal or NY.

if Sundin comes the line up would look like this.

Naslund Sundin Zherdev
Dawes Gomez Drury
Korpikoski Dubinsky Callahan

if Jagr comes then may be.

Naslund Dubinsky Jagr
Dawes Gomez Zherdev
Korpikoski Drury Callahan

I like the first better anyway althought both are good.

Sundin I think also is a better captain and has more experience as being Captain.

You got to remember Detroit is set Vancouver has no one with Naslund here.
and NY is better than Montreal.

What do you guys think?

Montreal is a billion times more of a hockey town than NY. Honestly, id love to play in either place if i wasnt such a ranger fan.

i think after all is said and done, hes going to the Habs.

You might be right but with all the pressure in Montreal I would play in NY.

With the cap room we have, is he ok with $2 million one year contract? Mind you Vancouver has 2 years $20 million on the table. Of course, Sundin can always pull a Hossa. Don't forget, this year teams can't offer bonus laden contract to 35 years or older players because NHLPA hasn't exercised the option to extend the current CBA. Hence, 08-09 season is treated as last season of this current CBA until the big wigs at NHLPA say deal. One exception of bonus laden contract: Players coming back from major injuries like Dan Boyle, but he doesn't have one of those.

Sundin is not coming here. We have like 7 NHL capable centers on the roster already, and virtually no cap room for him.
