I'd rather stick with Dawes then deal with this. Why does everyoen not like Dawes anyways
I'd assume the goal would be to keep Dawes and add Sully.

Something the likes of Callahan, Prucha, Sauer or other prospects.

Try to arrive at a lineup of:

Naslund - Gomez - Zherdev
Dawes - Drury/Dubinsky - O'Sullivan
Korpikoski - Dubinsky/Drury - Fritsche
Voros - Betts - Orr

What are the Kings 15 mill short of the floor?

agreed

and to the poster who said why dont people like dawes....i like him a lot but i think the rangers need to add another top two-line winger and if it possible to trade for a young player who can score and plays both ways i would jump all over it.....

DING! DING! DING! That's exactly why I would see the Rangers pursuing this deal. They stockpiled forwards in order to make such a deal.

Good type of deal where the Rangers go 2 or 3 for 1..And O'Sullivan is interesting..No prob with him, just don't think he's the right player..Need more of a net crasher for the top 2 lines and the PP..

I don't know what we could offer at t his pointfor a young 50 point forward who figures to reach the 70-80 point level in 2-3 years.

probably trade since we are in a log jam as is. Plus putting in an offer sheet means wed have to sign him to more than we have to if he was our property. With our current cap situation its better to have him at the cheapest contract possible.

Think we can stick Miika in this trade if the proposal is real? They needa goalie with potential. We have Miika

Knowing Ek, he's probably thinking we should give up Staal and Zherdev for O'S. Every time he proposes anything we overpay through the nose. I don't know a single person more biased against us.

He is horrible and a complete fraud. When the Mara signing was posted, that night Ek came out with his "impact" players left. One of them was Mara, so I commented that Mara had already signed.

What happened to me? My post deleted, 5 day ban, and Ek removed Mara from the list but I was banned because I told him he was wrong. (when he actually was)

definitely to trade for him. If we offer sheet him, the Kings will probably match unless it is a ridiculous amount of $$$

Prucha must go to L.A. for 2 reasons. 1 to get him off our cap hit, 2. To add him to theirs since there not at the floor yet.

LOL! LOL!

He was afraid you'd point out he was wrong and figured that in 5 days, nobody will remember anything about Mara.

Yes if the prospect is Sang. Otherwise they'll reject it and laugh at you.

Slats should propose Callahan/Prucha/Dawes (whichever has the highest salary for this season) + Sauer + 2nd. O'Sullivan is better than any of those three guys, and would fit on the 2nd line. Then the two guys we keep can play the wings on the 3rd line with Dubi.

Wow. That wouldn't get it done for O'Sullivan, unless the pick was a 1st rounder imho.

could be, or Anisimov, Korpeedo, Sauer....maybe even Zotto

But really LA main reason is to get to the Cap floor so $$$ has to go back.
