Ha. My brother used to do that same exact thing when he lived in an apartment. Same story, holes, one time I got drilled by a yellow puck.

He lives in a bigger house now though (past 5 years) so he shoots in the basement. He shoots off this ice simulator that someone else mentioned in this thread. It is about 5 x 4. I think it is the best tool for shooting pucks at home.
