Yeah, his regular season stats are so great, but he had 5 in 7 playoff games, 3 of them very good goals

A really good buddy of mine here in Lethbridge works at a local hockey shop. Today a member of the Flames organization (can't disclose a name) came in and said that the Flames will not resign Nolan and will sign Bertuzzi, possibly to a 2 year deal. He said the deal will be announced in the next couple of days. Again take it for what it is worth, but thats just what my buddy told me.

cant see him playing for the Sharks. They got too much depth up front, unlike some weaker offenisve teams like Vancouver, toronto, or Atlanta

When he left the sharks I don't think it was on good circumstances either, They were not happy with his injury issues with the hernia he had Im pretty sure.

In Toronto he again had a bad break up with the team arguing in court I belive over injuries when his term was done.

I just don't get the respect the guys getting, look at his stat line you can tell what seasons he was gunning for a new contract in just by his point totals, pathetic.

The guy works for the Calgary Flames, needed hockey supplies, in July, went in to a local hockey store, and spilled the bean about a potential signing.

Except, Lombardi was never a 30-goal scorer.

According to Dreger of TSN it is an Unknown team that has a 2 year/5mil offer for Nolan and wonders if it could be The Sharks, (waiting to dump Mac's salary).

I would assume this is at least as bad as chat room language and should be treated as such...this is absolutely ridiculous. I can't believe he wrote over 3000 posts of this crappy slang.

Thanks man, now that it is all said and done with I can tell the whole story. Ron Sutter (Darryl's brother obviously) came into the hockey shop. His kid says, "Dad can I get a Bertuzzi jersey yet?" my buddy hears and asks if the Flames saigned him or something. Sutter then tells him that they wont resign Nolan and they have aggreed to terms with Bertuzzi and will announce the deal in a couple days.
