Never really got this winter classic crap.
I'd never be interested in freezing my ballz at -40 watching hockey.

Get a battery operated ball-warmer and some whisky; you'll be fine.

wirtz had things kind of screwed up in a lot of ways in Chicago. They are finally televising home games and bringing back some of the hawks alumni alienated over the years

One thing about having the game at wrigley instead of Soldier field: If you have been to the area around the Ball Park you can see that it would be a better before and after situation. There is not a lot close by to Soldier Field unless of course you want to go to The Field Museum or Shedd aquarium. wrigley is surrounded with lots of food and drink opportunities

I'd go to that game but I will be in Ottawa at the WJC instead

His picture changed since I made that post.
Imagine if I did not know who that was.

Wow. It definitely should be Soldier Field. That background is sick!

Not to mention Wrigley Field's seating will be extremely awkward for a Hockey game. But that is not even my first reason. That Soldier Field view would be awesome!

That's fantastic for the Blackhawks.

They got young kids becoming really good, their team is turning around, they got more coverage, and now this.

It was sad to see an Original 6 team fall so low, now they finally will become a beacon of light again for western hockey.
