#68. Around 13M for 200+ pts over 3 years? Yeah, I'd say it was a bargain.

Wasn't Graves on about $500k a season during his first Rangers contract after leaving Edmonton?

What would that even be in post-lockout inflation?

Blair Betts. The guys blocks shots, kills penalties, wins draws and tolerates playing with no talent Hollweg. He doesn't complain, he shows up every night. For $600k I can't dream of a better player.

Hopefully, this season it's Paul Mara.

How often do we sign a UFA for below market value?

Graves i would guess would get around 6-7.5 mil per season. he was a powerfoward who can notch 40-50 goals per season.

Considering Jagr...

scored more points than any Ranger in one season, and nearly topped 100 the next season, I'd have to say Jagr. You can go back and check out all the bargains the Rangers had, but starting with the guy with the goals and points record is easier for me, especially when the guy was making about 1/2 what he should've been making. I assume this is best bang for the Rangers' buck, which wouldn't take into consideration what the Caps paid for Jagr.

Yes, 13M for 290 points is great. Just look at Vanek, or even Drury and Gomez - they got more than half of it and didn't score a third of Jagr's points.
