Stu Barnes

I've noticed that Stu Barnes is still available and wondering what people would think of him as the Oilers 4th line centre? I like his grittiness and his ability to win faceoffs (better % than Reasoner). I think he would be a cheaper more experienced version of Marty Sakic. I would only sign him for a year or two, but I think it would be good to have a faceoff specialist teaching the kids how to do it.

I heard he was leaning toward retirement.

Pass... I loved Barnes, but I think we're better off giving ice time to our young guys
