#19 - ?

I know it's a silly thing to discuss, but hey, off-season is the time for silliness, right? Heck, the notion of bringing back Ronnie Sundin was mentioned in the past, so I guess I shouldn't feel too bad about making silly threads.

Anyways, with Naslund coming in, and Gomez recently losing #23 to Drury and switching to #19, who now gets #19? Does Naslund defer to Gomez? Or do we get another puck toss?

I guess Gomez will probably keep #19, but just thought it might be harmless silliness to muse.

why would Naslund get Gomer's number? Naslund will wear 91.

He's going to change his name to Nazgul and wear simply the mark of Mordor

It makes sense, but there was the puck toss with Gomez and Drury, was just musing if it'll become a tradition. Like I said in the first post, it's not really a serious thread.

I don't mind it being killed if it annoys people.

You just ruined the unveiling of my new avatar, for shame!

I was working on: Markus Nazgul - The Search For The One Ring

But the puck toss was because both of those guys were coming to the team at the same time. So I think here it's a case of the encumbent (who is a top line guy) keeping his number and the new guy getting a new one.

yea but Drury and Gomez were signed in the same year. Gomez has seniority on the team over Naslund.

Makes perfect sense. Well, it definitely was a silly question to ask.

If Naslund really wants #19, I'm sure it's available for a decent sized donation for Cheering for Children, just like it was when Betts wore it. Gomez seems like that kind of team guy.

I don't think it'll be a big deal. Nazzy will probably just wear 91.

I believe he wore 29 back in Pittsburgh. I could be wrong but my NHL94 memory cells are telling me so.

They were both new to the team that year. There is no reason why Gomez would even have to have a puck drop. He was here first, and should get it.

I would have to think unless Gomez doesn't care about the number that he'll keep it.

I've read almost every Salvatore book published, still have 5 or 6 left, which isn't that many considering he has 50 or so published

That would be awesome. 3 movies based on the dark elf trilogy would be even better.

I've read most of his books, but I have to admit I'm not really getting into the latest one, The Orc King. There's too much time spent on the orcs IMO.

Good call, I'll update the catch phrase to that one when I complete it, too bad I'm not good enough to make it awesome, but it'll be funny nevertheless.
