Anyone opposed to wearing Civil War attire to games

ever since the team started i have been wanting to see die hards dress up in civil war attire and cheer our ole bluejackets to victory. i bought the hat and now i think i may run to the surplus store and get me a uni and maybe a cork rifle. Do you think this could catch on?

No, something tells me this won't catch on.

I see people wearing the civil war hats all the time.

Doubt you can bring the cork rifle in. After all, you could throw that (and your bottlecaps) onto the ice!

Have at it man... I love seeing fans get into it... I doubt they let you bring the rifle in though Hell they won't even let us waive flags (unless they say Nationwide on them).

Not a bad idea, but only bring the toy gun if you're in the market for an all-expenses paid vacation to scenic Guantanamo Bay.

I've seen a few older gentlemen wearing a lot of Civil War stuff.

Mr. Mac often wore the Civil War cap. I have no problem with it.

Can we make Nashville and Atlanta wear gray when they come to town?

That will only help if they're wearing grey footie pajamas with a *backdoor* and no skates. Good luck with that.

I'm working on my Abe Lincoln beard.
Security won't let me bring my stove pipe hat in though.

On a slightly related note I LOVED the drum and bugle corps they brought in.

Get a kepi, but a real one, with crossed artillery guns, not the ones with hockey sticks that they sell in the gift shop. Those are pretty lame.

Heh, I'd love it from a Nashville perspective. Pick a winter day in Nashville and we could have a hockey recreationg of the Battle of Fort Donaldson. I also think the Preds are going to have a gray 3rd color.
