But don't you all want to see a sedin-sedin-sundin pp? Bob Cole's head would literally explode trying to call that.

I mean there is so much more on Sundin to be said that hasn't already, it would be a shame if this thread turned into an oil vs. tar debate...

Hey, just got back from somewhere. Last time I was in the Sundin thread, some guy(poster) on the Canucks board said that he knew someone that confirmed Sundin was signed with the 'nucks.

Since I don't feel like reading the remaining of Sundin's part 5, can someone tell me what happened to that story? Bogus ? Possibly true?

Thx.

Instead of oil/tar and feathers, Habs fans should gravy and cheese curd their adversaries...

And eat them afterwards! And it fits perfectly, as the French say "ils sont dans les patates"

We could change the Habs name to the Montreal Cannibals

Well we won't know until he signs somewhere. However, if you were a GM and you just signed Sundin, would you wait until the next day to annouce it? Even furthermore, what are the odds that the news wouldn't leak out?

Ok. Good points.

I mean, someone like McGuire would know a thing or two about something this big. When I was driving, Elliot Friedman was on the team 990 with Randy Tieman, and he said he didn't think Sundin would sign with the Canucks. It's just an opinion, but you know...

Lol... we did this line on NHL 07 just to hear what it would sound like...

we even added Chara and Mara for the heck of it.

He can still play in the NHL, but there is no place left for him here. It not like we need to get rid of one of our player who could still play with us if is salary was lower. Even at 500k, Dandenault would not play with habs

If we send him to Hamilton, his salary won't count against the cap since he is under 35. Otherwise we can trade or waive him.
Actually, it's not the age at the time of being sent to the minors, but the age at which the current contract was signed.

So, Koivu could sign a four-year contract starting next July 1st and if he retires at age 37, his cap hit would come off the books.

The Leafs already betrayed Sundin by trying to trade him at the deadline....nice try.

Next thing you know he'll tell you that it's actually the fans that would feel betrayed even though most of them complained about him not lifting his NTC to get traded....

We want to trade you, but we feel betrayed if you sign elsewhere... makes a lot of sense if you ask me... wait... NOT.

I am sure that you know who is Bryan Trottier (I did a mistake it Bryan and not Brian), 1425 points in 1279 games as a defenseman, I don't know which Brian Trottier you are referring to.
