Saw him play about 5 times last year. He's a project. He has not been very good in junior so far.

Petes fans will be able to tell you much better

I saw him play twice against the Knights. In London Missiaen played the whole game. I do recall his size which is pretty obvious. He is pretty lanky but isn't as awkward as you expect him to be. He gave up 6 goals that game. Nothing memorable though

The televised game in Peterborough versus London Trevor Cann was pulled after allowing 4 goals in about 15 min. Missiaen played the rest of the way giving up 2 goals on 29 shots. He actually played pretty good as I recall. Again nothing memorable other than he was kept busy and was praised for only allowing 2 coming off the bench

I like how the commentator in that video pronounces the town's name: it comes out as "Candy-Yack" (Candiac)

Here's a still i took from the vid:

Rollie said he was very impressed with his mobilty for a big man and seems quite excited to work on this new project...John Lu the TSN reporter said that Missiaen might not be done growing yet either!

Jason Missiaen is freakin' huge! I walked by him last season with his skates on before an Ice Dogs/Petes game and I'm only 5'8 it was unreal! With that being said, the one game I saw him play live he let in a lot of goals high. For a big man he goes down too fast thinking he's got the whole net covered but good shooters will still find the net above his shoulders. He let in 7 goals on 46 shots the day I saw him. Definitely a project, but nothing wrong with trying to give this guy a shot, this year should be a good gauge of his talents after going to an NHL prospect camp and getting lessons from the pros.

He is from my home town seen him play Junior C with the Dresden Kings and Junior B with the Chatham Maroons, when he was 15 or 16 and he was about 6 ft 6 and very skinny I pretty sure he weight was listed as 165 pounds, so he is starting to fill out at 6 ft 8 and 195. Pretty cool to see him in his butterfly and head still over the crossbar, we could possibly have the biggest goalie tandem in NHL history if he can make the jump in a few years, pretty excited I get a chance to collect hockey cards of a kid from my own hometown and he has a chance to play for my favorite team

definitely an interesting prospect
My thoughts exactly. If the nets to go bigger he might have an advantage in the future.

I would also love to see a picture of him and Deharnais standing next to each other....14 inches difference!!!
