*** move cup winner to thirty and everyone behind them up a spot
So the Preds are now on the clock. Make your selection for the 15th overall pick. If you want to trade the pick up or down, take the player with the best market value. We'll make the voting official when the thread closes in 48 hours. Some very intriguing names still on the board, good luck!

Me too. I take Chipper and don't look back. We've taken safe picks like Hartnell and Upshall, but we lack centers so badly both in our system and on the big squad that acquiring one through the draft makes too much sense.
My initial reaction is that the Preds have an opportunity to get a young prospect with potential to be a dynamic, flashy, offensive juggernaut along the lines of a Kovalchuk, Zherdev, or Gaborik, with the 15th overall pick in the draft and they should take full advantage of it despite the risk. This is the one and only area I think Nashville falls below the 3 other expansion teams.
However, reading some of the above posts written by people w/ greater knowledge of the Preds system and needs than myself, if you need a center than I guess it's hard to pass on Chipchura. I hesitate a little on that because it seems to me like drafting another Hartnell. But then again, at 15, there's nothing wrong with that. Tough call, I could either way, but I'll go Chip.
Add Chipchura to the Nashville prospect base, and I'm really excited about the quality of prospects Nashville has. Nashville has quality now, but to add someone like Chipchura as well it'd look even more impressive.
