Bieksa, Hordichuk, Cowan, Rypien, Davison, Brown, and Bernier say: "Hello".

I wonder when people are gonna realize this ain't the same Canucks squad as last year.

Let's not stretch Eklund-ish talks. They are in contact regularly, but I'm guessing so is Gillis and many more.

Personally, if Sundin signs at 10M $, I will be worried for that team, albeit Van or Mtl. Both teams have key UFA's and RFA's to sign the year after.

Oh man, I just realized the beauty of Cowan. While other teams enforcers waste energy and time punching the crap out of Cowan, WHAM, in comes Hordichuk or Davison to clean up the mess. Excellent.

And yes I am convienantly ignoring the third man in rule for my scenario.

Tell that to hordichuck. If sundin signs are team will be a lot less soft than last year, and if the Sedins are the second line it makes line matching kinda a pain in the ***

If Sundin signs for Montreal, it won't be for 10M. It's going to be in line with the offer they initially gave him, around 7M, maybe a bit more. But aside from that, we do have a lot of players becoming UFA next year, and it's going to be hard to retain them all regardless.

He took what my "favorite Hockeybuzz blogger" wrote and just replaced "in talks" with "met several".

Kesler, Mitchell, Bieksa, Hordichuk, Burrows, Sundin(If he signed), Bernier, Johnson, Brown.

The Flames aren't overly intimidating by any stretch.

my uncle is in the CIA, and i told him to tap into Sundin's phone calls...
yes the rumors are true, Gainey and Mats are still talking. Mats was apparently joking about the best schools he could go to so he can learn French in hopes of dodging the fury of the francophone media.
Btw, Mats has spoken to the Vancouver GM...ONCE.

Vancouver will only keep getting better, hopefully Luongo sticks around to win the ring, atleast once in his career.
