Not sure if you're familiar with the old story, but right now you're acting like the magpie on the shovel handle.

Remember that Russian rumors are BS until proven otherwise.

and I'll delete this when Radulov denies it in any media from his own mouth ... and I also put (RUMOR) in the title

If true Nashville just lost their best cornerstone of their franchise for nothing...

But I don't believe it

From crappy online translations, it looks legit at least.
Need some official statement from the Preds that I can properly interpret.

I'll believe it when a legitimate (tsn, espn) news source reports it.

I think Arnott chased him out of town because of the whole game 4 incident where he gave the captain a concusion after that huge 5th goal. But seriously, that sucks for you guys...he is a Red Wing slayer...him and Stevey Sullivan.

A better translation of a couple of the highlights:

Quote:
- When and from whom have you received the invitation to the Ufa club?

- I was invited to "Salavat" already in my second year. My agent was constantly in communication with the general manager of the Ufa club, Oleg Gross, and I knew perfectly that the club was interested in me. Ufa has offered me excellent terms, and I have decided to sign the contract.

- Have you already informed the management of "Nashville" about the new contract?

- For the time being, nobody knows about it, because it all happened not many hours ago.

- Are you not afraid that, considering your valid contract with "Nashville", the managment of the overseas club will insist on your disqualification?

- I am not afraid. As there is no agreement between our leagues, no problems whatsoever should arise.
Source: http://www.sport-express.ru/art.shtml?162420

The contract was signed yesterday, apparently.

*wave* CBJ fan here. Please don't hit.

If this is legit, I just wanted to say that we've been there (Svitov), it sucks, and I'm really sorry. This is a really crappy thing to happen to any team without any warning, and I hate seeing it happen to someone else after we just had to deal with it last summer.

I really hope this isn't true. If it is, the Russians are utter liars with their talks of honoring contracts, etc. Furthermore, I would be highly disappointed in Radulov, although I suspect they used some strong emotional and monetary pulls on him.

I hope he was talking about just being angry. This is nothing to get worked up about though... Radulov was/is one of my favorite players for sure, but he is definitely replacable within the organization. He doesn't really fit in with the grand scheme anyway in that he isn't big and physical and he isn't exactly a good "character" player and a leader in the locker room and all that. There is no reason to believe this until we see it on tsn.ca or nhl.com. Until then it is just a rumor. That's right: false until proven otherwise.
