After games the press writers get this set of papers to tell them what happened in the game, so they can write the news columns. My dad gave me one from the 80's against the oilers. Its so cool they have all the names of the players, scores, stats, and such. I have no idea how he got it, and he wont tell me He has a whole bunch of them! its really cool
The postgame pak is really cool, though. At Quinnipiac games (NCAA D-I), the press got the full shot sheet (misses, pipes, goals, blocks by the defense), including the faceoff records for each player, and the full box score.
Before the game we got the game protocol (when the pre-game stuff would happen), full pre-game notes, line charts for both teams, and the media guides for both teams. It was great stuff.
