Wasn't the schedule supposed to come out today? Any idea what time that will be or if it's actually today? Thanks

It's probably Wednesday because it's the day after the baseball all-star game. That's how it's been the past few years. They usually release it closer to noon.

So from what I heard, next season, we will only play 6 games against our division rivals in order to play at least one game against each NHL team, right? Can anyone confirm that to a poor Rangers fan from overseas? That would be nice. Thanks in advance.

I am aware of the fact that this is not the perfect thread to post these questions in so my apologies to anyone offended, BUT; could anyone help me with clarifying some dates for me? When does training camp and the traverse city tournament start? Help is greatly appreciated.

The Rangers are one of the teams we will have a home and home with in 2008. New York will be in Dallas on 2/6, but no one knows the time yet.

I got my vs. backwards. This date is in Dallas not NY.

When Avery runs into Lundqvist it will be funny to hear the howling here about how darned dirty that Avery fellow is. All of a sudden Rangers fans will hate him like the rest of the fans all around the league and the players all around the league. It won't be so cute any more.

I'm looking forward to that moment.

In addition to Dallas, the Ducks reported that they play us twice, so there's just one more home and home matchup to be announced.

Also, we are at the Flyers for their home opener on October 11.

Whatever the reaction is, I'm glad we aren't paying him 4M for 4 years. One of the dumbest contracts of the offseason.

yeah but lets not play the Rangers are so smart with contracts game...

Redden 6 years $6.5M...limited no trade clause...

Naslund 2 years $4.0M with a NMC...

Rozsival four yeas $5.0M a year..

Those are contracts and players the 98-04 Rangers would've handed out...

I mean if Averys contract is one of the dumbest this offseason then that contract has company with what the Rangers did in FREE AGENCY...

I have zero problem with the Naslund deal. The Redden deal is fine but the NTC erks me just a bit.

The Rozsival deal was dumb, but he was worth about that on the open market, anyway.

Agreed. All are worse contracts than we handed out this offseason.

The Commodore contract is one I forgot about. What a stupid ****ing deal that was.
