My whole life was on that computer! I had lots of pictures and stuff...Some embarassing videos too! And the only copy of my recently revised CV! This is horrible!
Leave it up to you to start another thread stating this!

lol "nice neighborhoods" don't mean ****. In nice neighborhoods they have snotty self-centered teenagers who love to take **** for no reason than to be *******s.

The fact that you were dumb enough to leave it sitting out on a curb rather then secure inside the car is your own fault there. your a trusting fool when you do **** like that. I've lived in the countryside near Buffalo, scummy part of Las Vegas, and suburbs of Denver. I always practice the same security measures.

Kinda reminds me of the time I went to a lan party at U of Buffalo and this student hall on the 14th floor of the "ghetto / affirmative action" dorm. One kid had put his PC in the elevator when he turned around and grabbed something else the doors closed and his PC was never seen again. we actually felt sorry for him.

lol, funny stuff

Didn't understand the responses till I went searching for the 'other' thread.
Classic.

As an OT to this thread (if you can call it that), it's pretty surprising what crap you sometimes find. Found a computer at the building I work at. Still had a working primary drive in it too. You would think the system admin would have the smarts to keep the drive or wipe it out before throwing a business computer out.

The only thing I worry about anybody getting my 'puter is my stock information and accounts. Darn Windows remember passwords sometimes when you don't even know it
