Sighting - M Staal

Thought you guys might like to know, seen Staal the other day around town (T Bay) and looks to be putting on muscle, closer to 215lbs than the 205 that he was listed at last season.

Just thought you fans would salivate at that idea for the rest of the summer.

Too much weight (even if it's muscle) slows a player down. But, he's a smart kid, so I'm sure he won't go overboard.

WOW!!!......im surprised he was that light then.....wouldnt surpirse me if he got to over 225 as it is really easy to add 15-20 lbs of muscle on in a year or two if you work out and it can be good weight

If I remember correctly, the rangers like to make there young players put on a lot of weight early in the summer, then turn it into pure muscle as the summer goes on (remember all those Dubinsky threads back in the day )

It was obvious he needed to put on muscle this offseason, nice to see its happening. Can't wait for those bone crunching hits he will soon be showing us
