Has anyone been able to confirm whether the developmental camp continues through Tuesday?

Does it start at 9:30 like all the other days? I think I might be able to make it.

Good morning Jori

The Avs look as though they just signed more players and some for Lake Erie.

Any reason Montgomery is not signed yet. They still have 2 years to lock him up don't they.

Maybe they have enough defence for the Monsters and will send Monty back for his OA season at London.

Any news let me know.

Two of the players they signed yesterday are defensemen, but Campbell was with the Monsters last year.
There are 6 to 7 defensemen currently signed who could play for the Monsters, but a couple could end up in the ECHL with Johnstown. So, nothing is set in stone at this point. Montgomery and/or Nigel Williams could still be signed, but I'm less convinced that both players will be signed. As you mentioned, the Avs have Montgomery's rights for two more years (same with Williams), so it wouldn't shock me to see both in the OHL next year.

Got to see most of the scrimmage. Tessier really impressed! Whoever said he isn't much of a skater is exaggerating I think. He seems to be more than capable.

Stewart's skating is much improved though he started to look tired late.

Mercier looked pretty good, nice hand and a penchant for getting open and driving the net.

Tender wise, Delmas looked big in net and confident. Didn't see a lot of shots though. Thought Sauer looked pretty good too, think he faced the most shots.

Definitely was more fun than Friday! :p

I have been following the Q players, let me tell you Tessier's skating is very fluid and deceiving, Yes you are right when you mentioned "Whoever said he isn't much of a skater is exaggerating" These individuals who stated the skating ability of Tessier's indicate to me, they have never seen him skate or play, or maybe some jealousy involved. His speed is very deceiving. Many judge him on his size and that is the only reason he fell in the ranking. Av's fan will enjoy this workhorse.

Delmas is a calm individual and coversa alot of net. He is an outstanding goaltender and will be a great asset to the Av's franchise.

He used to be the third goalie in Lake Erie but he failed to impress in his only game so they send him to the NHL. I think he headed to the East Coast lately.
