Wow.

I can honestly say that Pierre Turgeon is one of my least favorite Habs. He was barely a Hab at all, even if they gave him the C. I mean, really... he is an Islander.

Plus... never have I seen a player so willing to give up the puck to avoid a hit.

The guy was a scorer, no doubt, and from the looks of it, a really nice guy, but he is definitely not on my list of faves.

Joe Cole - The OP has been pretty much trolling for a while now, I wouldnt take any of the gibberish he spews on the board seriously.

Yeah, but how do you win four straight Cups in Montreal during the disco-cocaine era and keep your head screwed on right? Lafleur was a King. The world was at his feet. He did a pretty decent job in that regard. Other people have failed worse.

The great thing about Lafleur was his acceleration with the puck, the accuracy/strength/deceptiveness of his release and his complete unpredictability in the offensive zone when he had the puck.

We haven't had anyone close to as good as him. He's one of the all-time greats, no question. People say he couldn't play today, but I laugh in their face. He'd score 50 points on the powerplay alone... easy. Pure sniper.

Robinson, Lafleur and Dryden in a three way tie.
