Well even with a 1984 version of Wayne Gretzky, I doubt he could score 7.4 goals

Well now he'll be playing in Phoenix with the guy we traded for him, Marcel Hossa.

Remember all the cries with Hossa going to NYR - he was gonna be the next great thing!!

Edit: My bad, after his amazing season of 1 goal in 50 games last year, Marcel has bolted to the KHL. I guess Phoenix didn't care for what they saw in his 14 games with them, scoring 0 points and posting a -6. Yeah, that was a TERRIBLE trade, wasn't it? :-)

Marcel Hossa was not tendered a qualifying offer by Phx; he is UFA now.

Essentially they repeated the hossa for murray trade.

Phoenix now have Carcillo, Fedoruk, McGrattan, Murray. They could start a good line brawl if needed.

He's probably 11th choice in the depth chart.

Jokinen
Mueller
Hanzal
Turris
Reinprecht
Winnik
Porter
Zigomanis
Tikhonov
Perrault
Murray

That's about four choices too high.

And I liked him.

Eh? 11th choice at centre.. not all forwards.

In other words if you have 4 centres in the NHL, 4 centres in the AHL, he'd be the 3rd line centre in the ECHL for Phoenix. That wont happen because Phoenix will move some to the wing so he'll be in the AHL.
