If Palffy does not sign with the Kings this year, what is the next step for the organization? Do we go into another rebuilding stage or do we try to find somebody to replace Ziggy(which we all know is damn near impossible!)
If we are unable to resign him and we don't replace him we will be in prime shape for the Crosby award. We should start trying to accumulate as much young talent as we're able and revise that 5 year plan, again.
I would say rebuild. But the Kings will probroly just retool the team through free agency and maybe some trades. The Kings have had success at getting people to Staples and I'm sure they want to keep that up.
I think it would be fun to see a real young Kings team out there, it might get a little ugly to watch at times, but we see that with Cechmanek and co. regardles.
