If Ruutu remains healthy there's no way Carcillo outscores him. You guys can call that ignorance all you want but playing on a highly offensive team in the southeast division with far better linemates than I presume Carcillo will be playing with makes it pretty clear to me.

PHO guys, it may sound a little ignorant but it does make sense what CC is saying. No need to get defensive about. We're not saying anything bad about Carcillo, just saying that we think Ruutu will score more points than him. That's all folks.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Carcillo with a top-6 role as Phoenix is weak at LW and though they could move a C to the side, Gretzky seems to have a man-***** for Danny.

Will Ruutu put up more points? Probably, but I don't think the difference will be as large as you think.

So the fact that Phoenix is a bottomless pit at center has no influence on this trade at all, eh?

Carcillo likes to punch people in the face. I'll take Carcillo.

(I'm just a cave man.)

My point was missed. I don't disagree that Ruutu will likely outscore Carcillo. My issue is not with the prediction itself, but rather the manner in which the prediction was made.

I agree the trade doesn't really seem to work but I like Carcillo a lot
