KHL Wikipedia Project / KHL Website

Hey guys

Some of you read in the Russian forum that I'm going to start up a KHL website (its doubtful the official one will have anything in english outside of periodic news updates...) but until I get the groundwork laid for that I've been working on fixing up the KHL team Wikipedia pages

Wikipedia:
This is the current template I've whipped up:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Infobox_KHL_team

Example Page:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HC_Atlant_Moscow

Current teams done:
Sokil Kyiv
Atlant Moscow
Khimik Voskresensk
Vityaz Chekhov
Salavat Yulaev Ufa
HC Dinamo Minsk & the former Tivali Minsk
Spartak Moscow

Input? Suggestions?
Any Russian club fans, feel free to do any other teams page up or throw some info my way - I only really have the internet to go by, no 1st hand experience as some of you do

Good resources if you want to chip in:
http://www.eurohockey.net/teams/teaminfo.cgi?country=ru
http://hockeyarenas.net/?page=0400&l...tmOrder=tmName

KHL Site:
Any suggestions on what content should be on there?
Hopefully this thread can pool a good amount of ideas so I know what to shoot for when I start.

awesome, it looks pretty good. Yeah, rosters, stats, pictures, box scores, transactions are all pretty good ideas as they are diificult to find in english on the web. I know you said that you weren't to sure of video footage, but that would be a huge bonus.

EliteProspects is usually a pretty good, easily accessible source for rosters.

www.KHL.ru is up (the official site) now, but you may need a proxy to see it. I do....
its just a blog now....

also, the KHL is copying the whole "NHL Network" thing, as seen on the Chekhov site: http://www.hcvityaz.ru/

The logo at the site doesn't look weird at all.

An English KHL site would be great. I wish there were similar sites for Sweden and Finland.

The front page of the website seems to be announcing the arrival of Jaromir Jagr in Omsk complete with flight arrival time.

I'd be interested in doing some writing, I'm trying to keep up with Omsk as close as possible this year. I also have photoshop experience too, it's been a while since I've used it extensively and CS3 is a very new setup, but if needed I can un-rust as fast as possible.

Some simple work I still can do without screwing up too much. give me some time and specifics and I probably could turn out some of my old quality stuff again.

Is a new website coming soon? Because that blog version looks awful and very low-tech.
