Ehhh I don't think that the Bell Centre fans are much into satanic and/or german songs.

I really think Ole is the best choice. It's language independent, is very easy for large groups of people to chant loud and clear, and does do a good job of annoying the opposition.

It's also largely established and being sung by Habs fans in arenas all over the NHL. Big bonus.

that's just a classic... . You'll never walk alone is the oldest, and most appreciated song in english football ... every time I hear their slogan :'' you'll never walk alone'' I feel shivers going down my spine...

I think we do need a ''theme song'' ...

You can't just go in and throw a NEW song with NEW lyrics...

Start simple with a contemporary song anyone knows and if the fans grab the song as an anthemn, then you will be able to incorporate lyrics to them.

Montréal's chants: The next step

I know we have already talked about that a few times, but why can't we be like these fans??? I mean, the opposite team would literally ***** their pants.

We need that. we need a bigger, louder, scarier chant than "Olé!"

it's the Centennial year ffs!

discuss and bring some ideas.

Halte-la les Canadiens sont là!

And for the goal song, even Brass Bonanza is better than Vertigo...
We want l'Oreille back!

Ugh, that song is so cliché...I don't really like Vertigo but it's better than "woo hoo" x20.

We need the L'Oreille song back. Period.

I'm not talking about the goal song (wich i truly agree with l'oreille back)... but just chanting some loud thing during the games to make us look scarier, just like the vid i posted.

Nothing sounds better than 21 thousand people singing les canadiens sont là.

That being said it would be nice to have a whole song to sing as opposed to a repetitive chant. What would sound cool would be the Toréador part of Bizet's Carmen (I think it's already a chant for a rugby team in england but im not sure) it would sound amazing.

TORÉADOR EN GAAAAAAARDE, TOOORÉÉADOR TORRÉADOR

We could change it to like "Les canadiens en gaaaarde" etc.

Or we could always just poach more soccer songs and chants (like seven nation army)
