Burnside hates us...with a passion. Every chance he gets he makes fun of us, pretty much just ignore him.

lol, well I just found it interesting how he finds every possible negative out of the Panthers current situation and doesn't mention any positives-----Vokoun, Horton/Weiss/Allen/Olesz contracts, Matthias, Stillman, our defensive core...

Even though it's ESPN, he's completely right about Bouwmeester. But then again, it doesn't take a genius to see this coming from a mile away.

Bouw's agent and JM along with GR said the Bouw wants to make sure the panthers are good enough this season, which we are. So I think he is wrong about Bouwmeester.

I think even though it's ESPN, he's got a good point. I, for one, don't believe anything will keep Jay here. He's saying all the right things but I can't believe him.

Perhaps it's because glaring things like this that clearly outweigh the positives:

Quote:
Rookie head coach Pete DeBoer represents the fifth head coach to pilot the Panthers since Bouwmeester arrived in the fall of 2002, with Mike Keenan, Rick Dudley, John Torchetti and Martin having all had at least a brief twirl at the post.
Quote:
The Panthers have shown him nothing but early springs and a series of head-scratching personnel and management decisions.

For a guy who lives in Atlanta, Burnside sure hates hockey in the SE. I missed his articles calling Boston a town that doesn't care about hockey when they were mediocre(they weren't even a bad team) and did not draw well.

You mean when Sinden was running things and drove the franchise into the ground?

Cheer up Panther fans, Burnside is a complete moron who has no clue what he is talking about.

The idiot who wrote it doesn't deserve the 2 minutes of my time it would take me to read his written refuse. I like talented, opinionated writers - even if I disagree with them. Opinionated writers who lack creative writing skills annoy me.

Then you might like this commentary on Burnside. The writer definitely is opinionated about Burnside. Talented? Creative? You be the judge....
