So, I would guess that it means he's probably the worse defensive forward in the league ? +/- stats don't mean ****... bonk showed us he was a fantastic shutdown player in his last season in montreal; i'd rather believe what i saw from him during his 2 seasons in montreal than a stat on paper who apparently tells me he went from one of the best to one of the worse in a few months without even knowing his story in nashville (and seeing play more than 2-3 games during the season).

I wouldn't mind Mark Recchi on a line with Koivu.

True but the Habs would not have Markov, Komisarek (Garon and Perezhogin) if it had happened. I am not too disappointed now.

Not at all, just not up to the calibre I'd like to have back with the Habs. Plus/Minus is not a bogus stat. It doesn't take into account that Bonk's line probably faced an opposing teams better offensive lines, but it does indicate he they didn't fare all that well in shutting them down. Bonk was alright in Montreal, he tailed off last season.

Darcy Tucker, pretty entertaining player to watch although seems to be drying up a bit now in terms of production.

Sheldon Souray.

Robidas would fit very nicely in our top 4 D.

I don't like losing the guys we undervalued, guys like Stephan Robidas, Brett Clark and Craig Conroy....but it happens to every team.

Perezhogin and Ribeiro. And if i'm not mistaken, Perezhogin has one more year left on contract with us, and if he is not re-signed, he will become property of his Russian team.
