OT: CFL Leif Pettersen Dies

TSN & Sportsnet broadcaster has passed away. I think this is very sad . I always admired his work.

This has been an incredibly strange day. Sad news for the football community and Pettersen's family, he was a great analyst and person.

A guy I really liked as an analyst who seemed to have a lot of respect from around the league.

That is sad news; Leif was one of football's great color men. I have loved his work for decades. Heaven just gained one heckuva color guy.

Really liked Leif as well. He had such a friendly voice he was just enjoyable to listen to.

Seemed like a very nice man. Sorry to hear about this

Condolences to his family and loved ones.

I have to admit I don't really follow the CFL and don't know who he is.

But news of anyone's untimely demise is sad to hear, and my condolences go to his family, friends and fans around the CFL.

Jeez man, if he can't make it past 57 what chance do any of us have? This is a sad day for positive, decent people who "live right".

In the end I think he's still had a far better life than one of those evil types (I'm talking genocidal world leaders here, not smokers or heavy drinkers) who outlive him by 30 years but it's small consolation to him and those around him.
