OT: Places to watch football (soccer) in Vancouver

So the Premiership kicks off in a couple of weeks: does anyone know of any good places in metro Vancouver to catch a match? Main Street? Downtown? Does the Black Frog show footie?

Southside...Edmonton....but I didn't know...figure if a guy is hardcore, then there is quite a bit on the "tele"

Although, why you would want to drink beer at 8 AM when the games are on is beyond me...

Why don't you ask people in Vancouver instead of Edmonton. You might get the answers you want.

Because not everyone who posts on the Oilers board is in Edmonton. See, there's this thing called the "world wide web"...

Hence the "OT" prefacing the title. You do know what that means, right?

So why are you sticking your nose in?

What mistakes? I ask because I don't go to other team's boards and I know for a fact there's a number of Oilers posters who also live in Van-city. I didn't expect the Spanish Inquisition.

I posted above, but Library Square Pub downtown Vancouver shows games all the time. Gone there for lunch during work to watch games with the co-workers.

It was the first thing I thought when I saw this thread too. Why the hell not ask in the Vancouver section?

We understand it's a "world wide web" but if I needed legal advice, I probably wouldn't post on the Cooking Network message board asking.

priceless

Commercial drive is the best--when games start at like noon here in the uk--they will open cafes at 4am on the drive

I agree w/ jumptheshark. My first response was Commercial Drive. Not sure which bars though but Commercial Drive is the best place to watch soccer imo. Lots of large groups of fans. When the World Cup(I think it was it) they had to shutdown parts of Commercial Drive(if not all of it)

when it comes to football.soccer--the world cup on the dive is wild--I lived on the drive for 5 years and I experience two world cups on the drive--it is going yuppie--but it hold its charm
