TPS R8 Gloves

Do any of you have these? I can't decide between the R8 Pro's which are all nylon with digitech/nash palms, or the R8 lite's which are 50/50 nylon and have the FFH palm. Thanks for the help!

I have the Pro Stock R8 Lites for Perry, and they are probably the best gloves I've ever worn, very flexible and comfortable, although my palms wore down pretty quick, but that may be a result of my style of play since it also occurred to my older gloves.

I think they are very good and I recommend buying them. I choose those for the open cuff which I feel allows for a wider and more comfortable range of wrist movement while deaking and controlling the puck.

Go with the All Nylon. they're lighter and dry quicker. I will never buy another pair of gloves that arent all nylon.

Mine are R8 Pro Lite. All nylon with "composite " palm. The gloves are out of this world, IMO. They weigh nothing.

They don't hit anything like R8's.
4-Rolls are like putting a hot dog down a hallway.....for your hands.

You don't know jack. Some of the higher-end Eagles are lighter than anything else out there. Why don't I make the claim that pros use Eagles because of that?

Because pros get gloves custom made for them. THe Easton you buy for $100 at the store is nothing like the Eastons that Niklas Lidstrom uses.

You lose.

So pretty much you're just throwing out typical "X brand is the best because I said so"-type advice....and it's bad advice? And now you're retracting it cause someone pointed it out?

You're right. I'm not even sure that was English.
Give me a few minutes with Babelfish and I'll see if I can translate.

You must have real small hands. I tried a pair of 4-rolls and the things were tight on me where as the R-8s fit just fine.

They're looser than Eagle X72s, that's for sure.
If you think 4-Rolls aren't loose, I wonder what'd happen if you put on some Supremes.

I have the exact same and they are also the best I have ever had. They get marked and scuffed up fairly easily but nothing that compromises the protection.

I had R8 Pro made for Frolov and now I've got generic R8 Pro and I do not see much of the difference other then palm material. They are as comfy and lite as the old.

I have them, ones with FFH palms. Like the gloves- the way they feel, look, their weight, etc.
