My predictions:

If higgins is on a line with koivu and tanguay...all 3 will do better. Tanguay most improved.

I think people are jumping the gun on andrei here. He made 53 points, I don't expect a 30 point increase and 40 goals. He's one of my favourite players on the team, he's been my desktop pic since last season(i don't change my desktop much i know) but i'm not sold on that much of an increase.

Latendresse is an underdog here, expect him to take someone's top 6 minutes of someone is in a slump and do reasonably well.

Halak will challenge for the #1 spot by christmas.

Ryan O'byrne will be a steady and consistent player. While I don't think he'll be the best defenceman on the team, I think he'll be the best defenceman some nights.

All in all, i'd say tanguay would be most improved, it'll be a turnaround season for him.

SKos - I love this kids attitude , and he has good hockey sence. He reminds me a bit of Begin but with speed and scoring touch .. i think if managment has confidence in him that he will have a realy good year

not as much as the other way around, but the loss of Streit will hurt Markov's production imo

Koivu - Contract year
Kovalev - Contract year
Higgins - contract year and he's only getting better
Komiserek - Contract year and he's only getting better
Tanguay - Contract year
Plekanec - Contract year
Latendresse - Contract year

Price and Halak as both still have a lot to prove and are full of potential.

Higgies, this is the year he gets some All-Star recognition. What better timing, the team his family and father grew up loving and the All-Star game in Montreal. I expect him to blossom this year into a true leader on and off the ice.

I'd say AKost and Higgins both should have a good year. Especially Higgins, we all know how many chances he missed last year, it can't get worse, even then he still had 27g 52p.

Can't wait for the season to start...

3.Because he's gonna play more than 41 games and he will get more W'.

Sergei Kostitsyn is also a safe bet, he's gonna play 30 more games.

Higgins is a high-risk as the winger that will most likely lose PP time to Tanguay. Kovy is great but he won't get more than 95pts like he did in Pits. I don't know why people think they will have carrer years.

I have a feeling that Tanguay will really explode with the Habs. He's someone that has talent but he always seemed to lack drive. Montreal is the perfect place for players to start taking things more seriouly with the people, the legacy, the emotion. And he will play in front of his people.

My vote is Koivu. He's prime right now and should play with solid wingers. He is thirsty to sip from the Cup and he will finish 8th in the scoring race and to me, that would be a break-out year. He hasn't 100% lived up to expectations and this year, it's 100%, baby.

Andrei Kostitsyn will have a 40+40 season and in a game against the Leafs, will crush Kulemin with a huge check and end his career.

I'm thinking Koivu might have his best(career) year this upcoming season.

He is long over due & I believe he has one of those seasons left in his career where every time he touches the puck, it will turn to pure gold.

If so, look for Higgins numbers to explode as well!!

I don't know if it will be Andi Kostitysn's "career year" but I feel he will be the leading goal scorer on this team by years end.

It's wide open as to who can have a career year as this is what is beautiful with the Habs of the upcomming season, we have so many players evolving, getting closer to their prime, that the list can be quite big, Higgins, Plekanec, AKost, Tanguay, Komi, Markov... anyone of them could potentially have a career year.
